CURRICULA

WLSA Shanghai Academy provides two different three-year programs from Grade 10 to Grade 12. One is the WLSA Sino-American Program, which started in 2012, and one is the WLSA A-Level Program, which started in 2019.

 

The core curriculum of both programs is the WLSA Global Impact Program.  This program consists of five distinction courses. All students are required to take these five compulsory courses. Students in both programs also engage in co-curricular activities, college counseling, career planning, WLSA online courses, the WLSA East to West Exchange Program, and the WLSA Student Conference. 

 

The Sino-American curriculum prepares our students to continue their college study in the US, and the A-Level curriculum equips our students to further their education in the UK. Both programs are devoted to providing a wide-ranging and balanced education to fulfill WLSA's mission and vision.

 

Both programs apply the same grading and GPA system as the internal assessment standard. All courses are taught in English, except for Chinese and Strategic Studies.
